I’m an American living in Brazil who’s from DC. After Trump’s inauguration I was overwhelmed by the news coming from the United States, and without a (voting) congressperson to call or a local protest to join, I felt voiceless. Then I realized I can still read the news and I can still write, so here we are.

I want to make it easy to understand some of the major issues we are facing, and easy to do something about it. Each week I’ll pick a new issue, outline the basics, explain why the issue important to me, and highlight concrete actions you can take if the issue is important to you too.
